Lewis
and Clark Trail |
| |
Lewis
and Clark spent more time in North Dakota than anywhere else on
the trail. Bismarck-Mandan is mid-point on the trail and
the hub-city for many attractions. You can retrace the route of
Lewis and Clark as they traveled through North Dakota in 1804-1806. Today,
nearly 100 years later, much of the landscape is unchanged. You
can walk where they walked, camp where they camped, and gaze at
the same unspoiled beauty the Corps of Discovery marveled at so
long ago. |

military and Indian artifacts, has a 17 minute video which gives
you a historic overview of this area.
