Bismarck Civic Center Arena, is conveniently located in downtown Bismarck,
with easy access from I-94, taking Exit 161 and following Expressway
to 9th Street. The arena is located ten minutes from the airport
and within three blocks of five excellent hotel properties. In
1991, to meet the changing needs of the concert industry, 1,500
seats were added to the arena, increasing the seating capacity
to 10,100. |

The
48,000 square foot Exhibit Hall may be divided by a soundproof
retractable 30' wall, allowing two events to be held simultaneously.
For convenience, the Exhibit Hall is fully equipped with power,
water, gas, a 7,200 square foot enclosed support area and large
overhead doors. Exclusive in-house catering is available for groups
of 10 to 3,240 people. Portable seating/staging, tables, podiums,
microphones and easels are available upon request. A public address
system, lighting and sound system, controlled in the Show Manager's
Office, runs throughout the entire facility. The building is accessible
to persons with disabilities.
The upper lobby, embellished by natural light, leads into five contempory
upscale meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 520 banquet style and
800 theatre style. Highlighting the mezzanine level are two glass bay windows
overlooking the Exhibit Hall and an impressive lifesize North Dakota Centennial
Art Series.
