Terry Harzinski
Executive Director • email
Terry has worked in the tourism industry for more than 21 years. He came to the Bismarck-Mandan Bureau after serving as Assistant Director of the North Dakota Tourism Department for nine years. He recently started his sixteenth year as Executive Director of the Bureau. Terry was selected to attend the White House Conference on Tourism, and is the recipient of the North Dakota Travel and Tourism Industry Leader Award. During his tenure, Bismarck-Mandan has had the opportunity to host numerous national conventions and events. Terry's priorities include staff motivation, team coaching, and working with the Board of Directors. His recent projects include the completion of a new visitor information center and developing the international market.

Sheri Grossman
Director of Sales • email
Sheri is a former meeting planner with the Energy & Environmental Research Center at the University of ND. Her meeting planning experience at the state, regional, and national levels has given her great insight into the needs of the meeting planner. Sheri began at the CVB in 1997. As director of sales, Sheri is responsible for leading the sales team to meet the sales and marketing goals for the organization. |

LaRae Nelson
Destination Sales Specialist • email
LaRae Nelson joined the CVB in January of 2011. She has extensive sales experience with nine years at Cell One/Alltel. As a CVB Destination Sales Specialist, LaRae works with meeting planners helping them find the best facility to meet their needs in Bismarck-Mandan. LaRae’s primary market segments include: government, medical, education, and religious. LaRae also works with military reunions and fraternal groups. |

Lori Yantzer

Lori Yantzer joined the CVB in August of 2006. She previously worked with Ramkota Hotel as a Sales Executive. As a CVB Destination Sales Specialist, Lori works with meeting and event planners, matching their needs with the facilities and services available in Bismarck-Mandan. She focuses on making Bismarck-Mandan a sport and leisure hub in this part of the country. In addition to these two market areas, Lori is responsible for Sports & Leisure, Professional Associations, Native American events and major events. |

Rita Horner

Rita is instrumental in assisting meeting planners and visitors to the Bismarck-Mandan area with their meeting details, such as registration, entertainment, programming, and general information. She had previously worked as an Account Executive with Northern Capital Trust and Payroll Solutions in their Bismarck location. Rita also has 15 years of experience in customer service and administrative support for BISI/Inacom computer and service center. Rita is the staff expert on attractions, events, suppliers, entertainers, caterers, and speakers available for group functions |

Camie Lies

In 2001 Camie was hired as the Lewis & Clark Coordinator for the CVB as well as for the Bismarck-Mandan Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Committee. As the bicentennial came to an end, Camie was hired as the CVB's Communications Manager. Camie works with travel writers and other media in addition to developing the CVB's monthly newsletter and other CVB publications. |

Laurie Edinger
Administrative Assistant/Gift Store Manager • email
Laurie’s voice is probably the first you will hear when calling the CVB. She joined the CVB in June 2002 with twenty-three years of experience as an administrative assistant at Brady, Martz & Associates, PC.
In addition to providing support services to Executive Director and Director of Sales, Laurie has a wealth of information on both the CVB and the Bismarck-Mandan community, which is available to visitors and clients. She maintains an up-to-date list of events that is available to the public.
